Thank you so much for your post, Baker. Also, thank you Amy for raising your children in an atmosphere of open feelings. I can’t tell you how happy I am for William and the whole family. He certainly deserved his award! I hope he has a great time at Wofford and continues on his journey of making a difference. Love.
Fist-bumping you all — every Burleson. You set a critical example, and like William, none of you will ever be fixed or healed, and you all will continue to help others. It's what you do. When it is that close, it is that important. That drive courses thru your veins. You are changing lives - both healthy and ill ones. Mine is changed and I am grateful.
Thank you, thank you to all the Burleson family. I look forward to every Sunday morning to reading Semi-Colon. It has given me so much insight and understanding to my own family members. I have smiled, laughed and cried while reading the posts. It is amazing to me that an 18 year old young man has been able to share his deepest pain with some of the best wrinting that I have ever read. ( William- you have a future in communications !) Please keep sharing as you continue to help so many people.
Beautiful column and song. You and Amy are what I wish every struggling child / human had -- love and support unconditionally during the hardest of times.
What a beautiful post, Baker. Thank you for sharing as openly as you did! You and Amy have truly created a family environment that so many of wish to emulate. We are all greater for your willingness to share and lead by example. (By the way, I was in Central Park as a middle schooler in 1991 loving on Paul Simon! "Obvious Child" has always been a favorite. Great connection!)
Well done, Baker! You and William both are gifted writers. Thank you for sharing. Extremely impressed with William for sharing his journey and so happy for his recovery. He and all of you will remain in my prayers!
what a powerful post! I am eternally grateful to William and all of you for you utter transparency along this journey. He is helping countless young adults every single day. Thank you.
Beautiful and profound. You, Amy, William, and your whole family make all who know you feel so safe and loved. Thank you all for making the world a better place because you are each in it. Love you all, kaffy
And all along, the cross was in the ballpark!

Thanks, Mary Beth. All credit to Amy!
Please tell Amy that I send my love. If she doesn’t recognize Bebe, please tell her it is Mary Beth Harris. I am so happy for your family. 💝
